10th April 2008 - Teddington Reservoir - St. Arnaud Range National Park

About 40k north of Avoca, Victoria is yet another dry reservoir we found on our travels. Reached by following Teddington Road which is a good sealed road from Stuart Mill. The park offers plenty of camping space among well shading trees. Septic toilets are provided as well as a shower recess (Bring own water and rose). The water although in abundance, is suitable only for washing. Tables, bins and firewood are supplied. About another 800m further on past the water tank is Teddington Hut where another toilet and shower is located. The hut, which can be booked through the local National Parks Office, has a large fireplace and lounge chair. Several walks are available for those that enjoy the bush lifestyle.
