23rd March 2008 - Lake Lonsdale Campground - Victoria

Between Horsham and Stawell, Lake Lonsdale, is about 15k North West of Stawell and reached by taking a turnoff 8k North West of Stawell along Sandbar Road. Near the boat ramp is a large well shaded area suitable for camping and is within easy walking distance to the lake. Once again, there was no water in the lake and it looked as if it had been dry for a long time. Another place to return to when it rains again (if ever)
